I began learning Mandarin Chinese because of its difficulty to keep my mind sharp. I have begun learning the basics of Korean. I was in Japan in 1970 and learned some Japanese at the time, but remember little of it. I would like to be able to have basic understanding of these languages. I would like to teach English to anyone interested in learning. I am ESL certified and have taught English to many Hispanic students in my science classes.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

I am a Master Florist as well as a High School Science Teacher. I taught Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Anatomy/Physiology. I have also taught elementary school from preK3 through 6th graders. I am a lifelong gardener (including hydrophonic and greenhouse), live on a farm where we raised cattle, dairy goats, horses, chickens, ducks, geese, cotton, grain sorghum, and wheat. I cook, bake, can, and dehydrate a wide variety of food and dishes. I can sew, quilt, spin, crochet, knit, etc. and many other domestic and craft skills. I helped my husband build our home, barns, raised beds, decks, porches, etc.
