Hi, my name is Darlene.

I am 23 years old, study to be a primary school teacher (third subject English) and am currently in my 5th semester of the bachelor. I live in Germany near Dortmund and have been working in a kindergarten part-time for 3 years. Working with children has been an important part of my life ever since my Voluntary Social Year. In my freetime I give teaching lessons, do sports and I also have been riding horses since I was little (but am a bit out of practice). Another important part of my life is my family and friends, I am a very social person. My little brother is only 4 years old and my elder brother is 24 years old.

I would love to teach German, it is quiet a difficult language, but I am confident that I would be able to teach someone a thing or two. It is not only my mothertongue but also a subject that I study at University.

I have experience in the social field, have been working in a kindergarten and have done internships in primary schools.
