Hello,
I'm looking for work for July and August/end of farm season. I have done a season of flower farming work many moons ago. I'm a treeplanter, and I work May and June. I have been planting for 16 years. The job is very labour intensive, physically demanding, mentally demanding, and we work in every weather condition. I work 14+hr days running a crew of 11 folks. I'm also an herbalist and studying to do social work. I studied plants at Pacific Rim in Victoria BC, and Terra Silva in Marshall NC. I'm 35, queer, easy going and hard working. I'm originally from Moncton, but have been living in Quebec the last few years. I'm interested in plants, community, and craft. I have an art practice and attached my site if you wanna see what I'm about. I know it's kind of a weird middle of the season timing, but maybe you have/will have something come available. Happy to chat further, also if you know any farms anywhere really I'd be interested to hear (preferably plant medicine, but also open to food, sheep, etc, + queer friendly).
