We are Daniela and Paulina — two Chilean friends, qualified teachers, and lifelong learners traveling around New Zealand. We’re passionate about cultural exchange, meaningful connections, and giving back wherever we go.

With a strong background in education, we truly enjoy working with children and young people. Our love for teaching naturally extends into everyday interactions — we’re kind, patient, and always happy to support others, whether that’s through language, conversation, or care.

We also have experience in hospitality, which has made us attentive, friendly, and reliable when it comes to guest-related tasks like preparing meals, keeping spaces clean and cozy, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’re comfortable with general household work — cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, and light DIY tasks — and we’re always eager to learn something new.

We are both qualified teachers with a strong background in education, and we genuinely enjoy working with children and young people. Our passion for teaching goes hand in hand with our love for cultural exchange and creating meaningful connections.

We also have experience in hospitality, which has taught us to be attentive, friendly, and reliable in welcoming and caring for others. This background helps us feel comfortable assisting in guest-related tasks, such as preparing meals, keeping spaces clean and organized, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

In addition, we’re experienced in general household tasks — cooking, cleaning, and housekeeping — and we enjoy taking on small DIY projects, especially when it means learning something new or helping out. We're animal lovers and are always happy to spend time with pets or help with basic animal care.

Outdoors, we love hiking and exploring nature, but we’re just as happy sharing a good conversation over tea or coffee indoors. On quieter days, we enjoy reading books, listening to music, watching movies, and relaxing with others.

We’re reliable, organized, and adaptable, with a good sense of humor and a positive attitude. We love contributing to a warm, welcoming environment and are always open to new experiences where we can help, learn, and grow.

What else ...

We enjoy spending time outdoors and love taking photos of nature, landscapes, and little everyday moments during our travels. Some of these photos we share on social media, as a way to document our journey and connect with others.

Another hobby we both enjoy is doing puzzles, it’s a relaxing way for us to unwind and challenge our minds. We also like playing board games and card games, especially in good company.
