Welcome to my profile!

Hi Im Daniel from Hungary!

After spending most of my life in cities, my dream is to reconnect with the nature I dearly love. I wish to help people practicing sustainable agriculture, and meanwhile learn as much as I can about various methods and solutions in this field. I am still near the beginning of this journey, alhough I do have some experience, and a lifelong love of the outdoors and animals.
While travelling around the Canary Islands, I felt a deep connection; I had one of the best times of my life exploring the varied microclimates, admiring the beautiful scenery and the endless ocean. I wish to spend more time there, and get to know as much as possible about its agriculture, history and wonders, and meet people who also found their perfect home there.

I grow herbs, yucca, cactuses and succulents. I did gardening at a golf course for a short while. I have a little experience in renovating wooden furniture. I have plastered and painted walls, just for myself and friends, but I know the basics. I speak hungarian and english fluently, and a little bit of german. I cook simple vegan and vegetarian meals for myself. I am in pretty good physical condition, and can help with lifting and carrying things, digging holes and the like. I have some self taught basic web design skills. I studied film at university and have some video editing, audio mixing and photo editing knowledge.
I have worked as a bartender, and oas a host at music events.
