Hi! I am Daniel, a Spanish travel enthusiast. I am currently studying maths in Spain, and I've just come back from a year abroad in Sydney, so whenever I get the chance I seek experiences where I can meet great people from different backgrounds. I love reading (fantasy, historical fiction...) and sport - I currently play waterpolo in Madrid's first division!

Last year I spent 3 weeks in a summer camp in Romania, teaching kids English and life skills. Couple years ago I volunteered in Crete, working as a volunteer in a dog shelter called Bronx Familia Animal Shelter. It was an amazing experience and it was when I fell in love with this :) The summer before I volunteered in Switzerland (Bergwaldprojekt) building fences to stop snowslides, as well as planting trees, where I met amazing people and enjoyed the hard work, and the card games in the afternoons!

I look for opportunities where I can contribute positively to the world, whether it is working with people, animals, or nature! I am positive, energetic, and love to meet all sorts of people and share stories :)

I am a Spanish native speaker, but I also have an English native certificate (Cambridge C2 proficiency). I can also speak German. I can work with animals, as I have experience in a dog shelter. I can also work in the nature, as I did construction and gardening work in the Swiss Alps. I have taught technical knowledge (calculus and algebra), so I think those skills could translate to teaching other stuff. I am also an experienced hiker - my village is in the mountains and every Summer me and my father hike. I really enjoy any kind of sports, and outdoors life :)
