Description
Hi! My name is Cliona and I am a kind, thoughtful and hard-working graduate who always likes to experience new opportunities and meet people. I am very interested in travelling around the UK, where I'm from, or to a country where I can practise my Portuguese, Italian, Catalan or Spanish, which I have been learning for the last 3-12 years, depending on the language. I am very happy to help out at home, in a guesthouse or at a school (I'm flexible!). I am completely free in August and September 2025.
I grew up in a small town in the UK, but I have also lived in Andorra, Spain, France and Chile. I really enjoy learning about other cultures and languages, and I have just graduated from my foreign language studies at Oxford University. My main sport is rowing, but I also enjoy cycling, hiking and generally spending time outdoors.

I am a very organised and sociable person. I have experience teaching English and Spanish to children, teenagers and adults; working at a tourist office; and waitressing & bartending, so I have had plenty of opportunities to learn to become a good communicator. Having grown up in a bilingual (English and Russian) environment, I can pick up languages quickly and enjoy learning about other cultures. While I am not a very good cook, I am keen to learn and I can help out in almost any other way around the house!
