  • Description

    Hi!
I'm Clem, I just turned 21, and last September, I took a single ticket to South Asia, it used to be my dream destination and still is.
I just came back few weeks ago from this 8 months trip and there is only one thing i can tell: it was the best decision of my life, from far.

    A little bit about me?
I got my diploma after i finished my degree in design (architecture and communication). I always knew that architecture would be my thing and nothing else now that i'm out of my comfort zone, i cannot come back, i need to see and try evrything.

I'm thirsty to meet new people, new cultures, new values. Of course, I love going out, making friends, having a drink (as the Breton woman I am lol). Since I am a kid, I'm always close to nature and animals, that's why I was looking for NGOs that could help me learn more about them and make myself useful to their causes at the same time.
I'm also really open to join Hostels and guesthouses to, I love places where people just want to have good time, learn from each other and those are the best for that!

As I'm not afraid of talking and communication, I'm able to adapt quickly everywhere and in english is not a problem for me, i actually improved my skills a lot during my trip!

I join a Animal shelter in Koh Phangan Island for 2 weeks as my first volunteer experience and it was amazing. I helped the staff of the association to take care of dogs, cats and also puppy and kittens, I fell attached so hard with them, especially with Blacky, a big and energic black dog so adorable!

I also have been working with Manengkel solidaridas, a NGO based in Manado, on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia still as volunteer (with my workaway friend Marine) and that immersive month was the most rewarding experience of all, I was so sad to leave them and say goodbye...

Last January, I finished my volunteering month in Sri Lanka, at Yo-yo surf hostel aka the best place to stay on thi amzing island... Everything was amazing, people, landscapes, and now memories, I could have just stayed there for my whole life honestly…

I spent the two last months of my trip travelling around Vietnam and Indonesia (again, love it so much), meeting locals people and new friends. Now, I can fell how fast travelling makes me grow and how addictive it can become...

But time to move on. I'm back home now and look already forward for my next journey: Australia (a dream about to come true).. I'm looking for any kind of adventure, and i plan to stay at least a year!

If you are looking for someone, to work, help, or travel, just send me a text! :)

After 6 months on the road now, I definitely do think that languages in the most importante part of the trip. Being able to express my feeling in another language than my mother tongue was quite tough but I can tell you now: I’m glad that I did it. I still have a lot to learn of course and that’s exactly why I’m completely open to any advice and help. I also would love to pass on my knowledge about French languages, if you have any questions or desire about learning French, it will be my plaisure to help you!

  • More details about your skills

I am interested in everything (at least almost everything), especially what I don't know yet! I have been gymnast for 6 years when I was younger and that's probably my first passion. I am also passionate about music and have been playing guitar and piano since Im 12. I love water sports, even if I haven't had the opportunity to practice them for a few years (since I'm far from the sea), but kayaking and catamaran sailing have marked my childhood. I really want to learn surf, it's kind of my dream since a long time ago so I hope my travel will permit it!

I am (thanks to my studies) very well versed in digital communication but also in plastic art so I can help with a different approach too.

I also worked in the big IKEA store for 2 years to finance my studies, where I learned to work in a team, but also and especially what was the versatility. It is very important for me to be flexible, adaptable and I would like to put these two notions to good use in the establishments I would join!

I'm also able to cleaning and cooking (actually, Thai food is really amazing, I wish I could know all the recipes...). I can easily talk with people, I'm not afraid to create new relationship and I can say than I'm here for that to!
