Description
Hi, we are a couple traveling through Europe in our van. This summer, we finished our studies in Germany, and now we want to explore the world, meet new people, and have new and interesting experiences. We are both 22 years old and speak fluent German and English. Here is a little bit about each of us:
Haakon
I played handball for over 8 years and have always been interested in sports and fitness. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and learning about food and nutrition. Alongside my engineering studies, I worked for over 3 years in the glass industry. During this time I worked a lot with compressors and on the computer, but also frequently did some small manual tasks - mainly some maintenance on different assets. On top of that I enjoy photograpy and have various cameras.
Clara
I also have a big interest in sports, especially volleyball. I love all kinds of animals and grew up with chickens and rabbits. I am particularly interested in animal welfare, animal rescue, and environmental protection. I studied engineering with a focus on renewable energies.
We are both vegetarians and also went vegan for about an year.
In general, we are open-minded and curious people who want to gain new experiences and meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. We are happy to help, learn new things, and get involved wherever we can.

Haakon
During my studies, I worked in the glass industry, where I gained experience in various practical tasks and a lot of computer work. I realised that I enjoy working with my hands and I am always happy to learn new practical skills. Beside of that my sister rescued a dog from romania and my brother got his first child a few years ago. Because of that i gained some experience in dealing with both, dogs and children. Over the past few years, I have developed a strong interest in cooking and baking, and I especially enjoy making my own sourdough bread.
Clara
I have worked in a few restaurants and cafés as a waitress. In addition, I worked as a camp counselor at a summer camp for children. I grew up with my younger sister and animals such as chickens and rabbits. Because of this, I have basic knowledge and experience working with kids and animals. For the past three years, I have worked as a student in a company focused on renewable energy.
In general
We are both open-minded, reliable and motivated to take on new tasks. We enjoy learning new things and are not afraid of physically demanding work. Whether it is helping around the house, taking care of animals, working in the garden or getting our hands dirty with practical projects, we are happy to contribute wherever we are needed. -
