More details about your skills
Receptionist- I have previously volunteered for two months in an independent hostel during the busy summer months as a receptionist. My responsibilities involved checking guests in and out, manage bookings on the system, keeping on top of laundry, general housekeeping e.g. making beds during morning shifts, checking and cleaning kitchen at night. The position also required me to socialise with guests, initiating and organising group activities. I understand feedback, take things seriously and engage with guests well and always make sure everyone feels welcomed ant at home.
Customer service- I have worked retail positions in shops, I am familiar with operating the till, checking stock and serving customers.
Working with children- I have worked a few seasons at a local holiday camp for children age 4-12 as an early year practitioner. I was responsible for planning out activities to keep them engaged and entertained, taking part in the activities with them and making sure they are safe. I have a paediatric first aid certificate, enhanced DBS check.
Farm work and animal husbandry- as a vet student I have undertaken work placements on farms, including lambing and milking, I also have good knowledge of how to safely handle other domestic species. I also take care of my Labrador at home.
