After growing up all over Italy, I then followed my passion for the ocean, earning a degree in Ocean Science and Marine Conservation from Plymouth University, UK—where I crossed paths with Gia.
If there's no reason to stay on land, you'll likely find me in the sea, capturing the underwater world through photos (IG: @christian_underwater), scuba diving, or enjoying the freedom of freediving.Back on solid ground, my mornings start with a bit of yoga and meditation, setting the tone for a day of staying active both mentally and physically.
I'm all about soaking up knowledge and love sharing what I learn, especially as a scuba diving instructor. Whether it's teaching complex ideas or ensuring safety underwater, I find joy in helping others grow. Life's all about striking a balance between simple pleasures and the thrill of new experiences.
Gia
In my early twenties, I worked in the corporate world, managing projects and navigating sales for a prominent London consultancy giant. After a few years I realised I hated it and decided to align my life with what truly mattered to me. I left the corporate hustle to immerse myself in ocean science and conservation at Plymouth University.
I adore all things ocean—whether it's surfing, scuba diving, freediving or simply being on a boat.
Beyond the blue, I find solace in green spaces. Growing up with a gardening mother who fed us mostly her own produce, she also surrounded me and my siblings in holistic living practices which included herbal medicine and the power of the mind.
My current source of income is a YouTube channel creating music with binaural beats, designed to aid students in focusing and concentrating during study sessions. It's a method close to my heart, discovered during my university days, and now, I aim to spread its benefits. Youtube @studysonicfocus.
Amidst all this, my traditionally scientific mind is ever curious. I very much enjoy researching current marine conservation topics, crafting informative articles and blog posts to make science accessible and raise awareness on pressing issues.
We consider ourselves adaptable and always ready to learn, showcasing our versatility in navigating diverse situations. Our genuine passion for ocean science and conservation reflects our commitment to work that holds true meaning for us. With a mindset that embraces versatility, we approach each opportunity with a view for continuous learning and personal growth.
