Kia ora! My name is Cassia, I'm from Wellington, New Zealand. I'm a filmmaker and creative, mostly working as a Coordinator in Production on feature films or TV series. I love being outdoors, surfing, hiking, and gardening. I have a wide range of experience and skills; I have done multiple workaways before, which included gardening, manual labour, and assisting with outdoor adventure activities. I have worked with kids a lot throughout my life, including being a leading hand on the Spirit of Adventure (an outdoors/sailing camp development experience for teens) and running my own little surf school in high school, where I taught kids to surf and about beach safety. I have a passion for meeting new people and learning new things - always open and curious to new experiences, cultures, and languages.
Kia ora my name is Clare, I’m a Visual Communications Designer from Tairawhiti, New Zealand. I moved to Portugal to be a kids surf instructor in June 2025 and will be here until the middle of November. The outdoors has always been a big part of my life, whether its surfing, hiking, biking, skateboarding, I love it all + more. Having grown up in a lifestyle block I have a wide range of basic skills. I know how to garden, clean, look after animals, and just generally have good common sense. I was also a labourer for one year, so understand basic labour (specialised in painting).
We both love to read, watch films, and spend a lot of time outdoors. We enjoy DIY creative projects, such as zine making and print photography. We both have experience in surf and skate coaching.
