Esteemed host,

I am Carsten, mid-fifties, married for 25 years and father of two girls (currently 19 and 17). We had/have pets (had four rabbits for nine years and currently have two cats). I studied business administration and mechanical engineering. In my “normal job” I work in an office n financial services. However, I love exploring new cultures and learning new languages. and I am searching for inspiration by getting to know new personalities, ways of living and cultures.

I am a very responsible person, like cooking, am well organized and can support cleaning the house/kitchen, can support in gardening, can do some DIY. I also can do “finance work” (business plans, financial planning personal/business, etc.). I am very passionate, but not very good😉 in some other hobbies, e.g playing the piano or playing chess.

I can also teach German and English (lived in the US for some time), Math and science (chemistry, physics) up to university entry level.

So, every now and then I like to “work away” to get new perspectives and inspiration. If this sounds interesting I would be thrilled to get you to know.

More details about my language interests
I can certainly teach German and to a good extent English. However, English is not my mother tongue, but I lived in the US for some years and speak the language in my job on a daily basis. I love to learn the languages, which I am currently at “beginner’s level”.
