Hi, I'm Caroline. I'm an accounting professional from the UK. I love the outdoors, nature and animals.

I have recent volunteer experience, acting as a wellbeing volunteer for a mental health charity in the UK. I helped run arts and craft classes, engaging with service users to promote better mental health and wellbeing.

New to Workaway but not to travelling. I have travelled much of Europe, as well as Singapore, New Zealand and Japan. Now I am looking to travel for a more extensive period of time, living the day-to-day, fully immersing in the way of life. I have a huge love of the Nordic countries, appreciating their focus on nature, and simple (and cosy) living.

I had a wonderful time with Sanna and Metta the dog back in May.

I really enjoyed working together in the garden, with some beautiful weather, and taking the boat out after painting it. Sanna was a very hospitable host and made me feel most welcome. It was a pleasure getting to know her and meeting some of her very lovely friends.

Caroline was such a lovely person to have around. She was hard working and really nice company to stay with. She was brave to do all tasks I had here in my house and garden. She also enjoyed sauna and swimming and everything what this small island can offer. I recommend her warmly if you are lucky to have her!

Caroline is very polite, funny, and respectful. She´s a great housemate, and she helped with various projects during her stay. She took good care of the house, also while I was gone. And we had some nice yoga lessons together, going through the 8 Limbs of Yoga in just a week, which was also very inspiring for me as a teacher. Welcome back! :)
