My name is Carolina I'm looking for a Workaway this summer 2024 for a time between the end of May to beginning of September 2024. My interests and passions are natural hisotry photography, sailing, surfing, being outdoors, lots of listening to music and, as I am coming from a really big family.. I really love to cook!

I enjoy a minimal and simple life. I like spending time in nature and to learn about conservation and natural history. I am currently in my second year of my degree in Marine Photography and Natural History and to support my studies I work as in boat building and on Falmouth Harbour.

I love to be around people and community, and enjoy being in a team environment. I am happy in my own company working independantly at times and have a lot of experience with travelling solo too. I’m hardworking and I like direction and purpose - only positive experiences with workaways so far!

Landscaping and Gardening Experience:

This winter of 2024 I have been in an internship as a Botanical Curator at BOTANISKA Gothenburg. I worked as a landscaper and gardener on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and for 4 years growing up worked in a traditional cut stem florist. I have a real passion for plants and working with the natural world.

Maritime Expereince:

I have worked as RNLI surf beach lifeguard and hold a high level of first aid training. I did a season on the Island of Sao Miguel, Azores as a Scuba Diving Guide too. Now I work to fund my studies in marine construction as a boat builder and habour operative.
