Hiya :)

I'm a happy, relaxed nature-enthusiast looking to explore Ireland for the first time. I currently live in Cornwall and work as an SEN Learning Lead, taking students out to do enrichment activities; however, I find myself at a juncture point and feel the desire for change.

My aims on my trip include: surfing to explore point breaks and reefs; learning about permaculture, animal care and home-grown food systems; picking up my flute and learning about Irish music and improvisation.

I adore languages and communication. I am able to teach English/ Spanish/ Portuguese, as I am a qualified TEFL teacher and have a PGCE in secondary modern foreign languages. I would love to learn some Irish!

I have a strong work ethic and I learn very quickly. Working in secondary schools during the coronavirus pandemic, I have learnt to be adaptable because I had to learn to teach online.
I am also very good with people: I have lived in Argentina and Brazil as a languages teacher; I have worked various workaways in hostels in Portugal and Argentina; I have 10 years of hospitality experience.
I speak multiple languages and would be excited to exchange language skills!
My biggest personal goal is to improve my surfing. I have been living in Newquay, England, working as a surf instructor for surf schools including the Surf Therapy charity the Wave Project. I am determined to live and work alongside water.
I am a keen surfer, looking to improve from the intermediate stage that I can't seem to advance from! I enjoy being active and have fallen in love with my bike :-)

I love regular exercise, including swimming, cycling, netball, hiking and aerial yoga. I am open for everything :-)
