Hi everyone, I'm Camille, from Ardèche, in France. I'm 22 and I've begun woofing this year, in agriculture and wood construction, and that has been a wonderful experience. My family and I were hosts for many years when I was young, and that made me meet some of my closers friends, and I wanted to discover what it feels like to be the woofeur, and how cool it is to meet people you can help in their projects. All this experiences made me think about working in the environnement and agriculture, and learn how to be as self sufficient as possible.
I can take care of my self, I'm not afraid of hard or physical work, and all I want is to learn and feel useful on projects meaningful for people.

Update : during march, i will be with my friend Aimie, in order to travelling and voluntering with her one month, then I’ll be just by myself again.

Bonjour, je suis Camille, je viens d'Ardèche et j'ai 22 ans. j'ai commencé le woofing ce début d'année, en agriculture et en construction bois, et c'était de supers expériences! Quand j'étais petite, avec ma famille, nous étions des accueillants de woofeurs, pour l'auto construction de notre maison paille. Aujourd'hui, je voulais savoir ce que c'était d'être woofeurs, et d'aider les gens dans leur projets. Cette année de woofing m'a aussi fait réaliser que j'aimerai travailler en agriculture, pour l'environnement, et essayer d'avoir un mode de vie autonome. Je suis indépendante, je n'ai pas peur du travail physique(au contraire, vraiment c’est enfaite ce que je préfère) et j'aimerai apprendre le plus possible des endroits où je vais et me sentir utile à l'élaboration d'un projet important pour ceux qui m'accueillent.

Update : pendant le mois de mars et jusqu’au 12 avril, je serai accompagnée de mon amie Aimie, qui me rejoint dans les caraîbes pour découvrir avec moi et faire du volontariat ensemble.

I know how to use woodworking tools (saws, chainsaws, etc.), and I have knowledge of building with straw and earth, as well as eco-construction. I also know how to take care of a vegetable garden (at least with plant species and the European climate). I’m familiar with local plants and animals, and I’ve worked in harvesting several times. I’ve already done work at heights, I can climb, and I have no problem walking long distances. Also, if needed or sought after, I have knowledge in audiovisual production and performing arts.
