I am motivated to travel and volunteer by a desire to make new friends, learn about other cultures and learn more about life on Planet Earth. I have several skills to offer and I hope they can contribute to improving lives around the world. I am happiest living a simple life, far from the city, surrounded by nature, doing meaningful and useful work, and socializing with simpatico people.

I'm a retired residential electrical contractor and solar PV installer and I have many years experience in both fields. I have considerable experience with power tools. I have managed my own 40 acre forest in California for 30 years and have much experience felling trees and operating a chain saw.
I have experience composting, particularly with worms. I have run a one-man business for years, so have some small business experience. I have run and continue to run an NGO called Solar Roots, where I give trainings on solar power and composting worms.
