Description

I’m a 31 y.o Australian female who has been travelling on and off for the past year or so. I’m very interested to spend this year seeing and experiencing as much as I can.

Currently in Finland from Feb till April with a workaway family. I will be travelling other areas before heading back to the UK and wait for my 90 days to reset. During that time I’m very interested to find a long term workaway that could possibly offer payment as I have citizenship and would like to work for the Spring/ Summer months.

I’ve spent most of my working years in hospitality in all ranges of roles from waitstaff to bartending to management. The last 2 years I have been lucky enough to have a job in animal care which I adored. I enjoy working with animals and I would love to continue to pursue animal focused work in the future.
I also love art and enjoy being hands on to make any kind of creative work.

I’m open minded and accept everyone with warmth. I would love to be able to engage with people through this site and obtain new and exciting experiences.

I enjoy getting crafty. I always have a WIP with crochet or knitting. I also paint and draw and have had a few years experience of pottery (throwing).. Quite eager to teach or learn artistic skills. This also includes DIY. Always keen to take part in renovating, painting and the like but have no professional qualifications and the same goes for gardening.

I have a love of cooking and baking and enjoy getting together with others in the kitchen.

I’ve had 10 plus years of hospitality and customer service experience.

I adore animals of all kinds! I’ve completed an Animal Studies cert II and have 2 years of experience working as an animal attendant at an animal shelter in Australia. Before this I also spent some years volunteering for some local animal hospitals and shelters. I’ve had much experience looking after peoples homes and pets through online sitting and know how to be respectful of new environments and peoples spaces.
