For the past several years I have been intensely committed to rockclimbing which led me to learn more about the body, being focused in the present moment and maintaining determination. In the last three years, I have grown a deeper connection to yoga and I want to pursue it more. Last year I was recovering from multiple injuries, yoga and meditation helped me to find alignment and clarity while building confidence too. With consistent practice, I realize the importance of mindfulness to increase energy and state of mind. I have been told I am a natural teacher and I have a goal to complete my 200-hour yoga teacher training. I have a history of employment in construction, specializing in electrical. While working in the trades has been rewarding, my true passion is with nature. My experience with plants is vast because I have been curious and captivated by its beauty since childhood. I have grown lots of vegetables and fruits in my own personal garden. Conservation and precision when working with plants is a strong value of mine. Reducing the human impact on the soil to preserve the integrity of the fragile ecosystem is also very important to me. I enjoy foraging, identifying plants and tending to their specific needs. I have started creating extractions and healing mixtures from the materials I forage and this brings me much joy! My passion for nutrition is rooted in plant-based and vegetarian cooking. In the kitchen I am fast and efficient and receive direction well. I have restaurant experience including preparing and cooking food as well as dishwashing. It will be a pleasure to show what i know and learn more from others :)
