Hello! My name is Haley, I am 20 years old and I am from the US. I am a laid back person who loves adventures and making meaningful connections with people. I can be shy but when I get comfortable I open up quickly. I am quite curious and love going on adventures and finding beauty in the small things.
I am exploring the world because life seems too short to stay in one place. I want to learn about different people and their cultures. I am hoping to learn a lot about everything, including more about myself so I think traveling can be the perfect way to. I haven't done volunteering through Workaway before, but I'm very open-minded, adaptable, and genuinely excited to lend a hand wherever I can. I'm especially interested in learning hands-on skills like gardening, cooking, and carpentry. I may not have experience yet, but l am a fast learner and always willing to jump in and try.
A small little goal I’ve got is I want to collect recipes from different places around the world. I love cooking and baking (I am still a beginner with it however) and would love to grow my skills. I am a bit of an artist as well. I do it as a hobby not as a profession. Exploring nature is one of my favorite things to do. Naturally with that being the case, I love going on hikes and climbing. But also I enjoy sitting down and cozying up with a good book.

I’m a pretty good cook and baker, I took a couple beginner culinary classes which I enjoyed. I also took a beginner class for carpentry. I can help out around the house and garden. I’m not too familiar with gardening but I’ve got a desire to learn the skills to hopefully have one of my own someday. I’m good with animals, I’ve had chickens, cats, and dogs. I’ve learned how to clean and groom horses as well.
