Hi everyone
I'm Bea a nineteen-year-old who lives in Germany and just finished school. Traveling was always the thing I was most exited about when I tought about my future and I look forward to discovering new corners of the earth and finding adventures wherever I go. Moreover I'm also looking for developing new perspectives and a new orientation in life, hopefully I will achieve that trough expanding my horizon. And altough the majority of my travel experience is based in Europe I'm ready to visit the Great White North, Peter Jackson's middle earth, and the land down under.

About me:
I would say I'm a pretty calm and laid-back person (except when I'm at the airport, stressing about missing my flight).
Also I'm a very creative person who loves anything involving photography, painting, sculpting, etc. and I'm always happy to learn new things from other creative people.

But most of all I love being active in nature: hiking, kayaking, biking... count me in! (of course, also anything involving animals).
Lastly, the main goals of my trip are to learn new skills (or advance the old ones), meet new friends and of course climb a few fourthousender.

I would love to teach anyone who is interested in learning german (you have to have a lot of patience if you want to understand the grammatics ;)I myself am interested in furthering my knowledge in spanish and also learning new languages like italien or french.

Gardening: Because my father is a gardener and I went nine years to Waldorf school I have a fair amount of knowledge when it comes to planting and general garden work. I'm also interested in organic and sustainable farming, about which I learned a lot from both my father as well as my formal education.
Furthermore, I don't shy away from physical work in any weather condition and I would love to further my technical skills by helping in building projects and general maintenance.

Working with animals: Since I've been a child my family always had animals (like chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits etc.) and although my horseriding skills are a bit rusty, I am used to handling and taking care of horses. I also interned once at a farm for three weeks and worked with cows a few lambs and sheep as well as a donkey. Long story short I love animals and if you have animals I would be happy to take care of them.

Childcare: I come from a big family which means I have 7 nieces/nephews from the ages 1-9 so I'm usually able to connect quickly with children and form a good bond with them.
Adding to that I enjoy cooking very much and my family always likes the dishes I cook/bake for them (hopefully they're not lying ;).

Working in tourism: I had multiple jobs in the past where I worked as a waitress in cafes or restaurants, which means that I'm used to working with customers and just generally in the service area.
