Hello! We’re Azadeh and Shaq, a travel-loving duo from Iran, (holding UK passports).

We’re both experienced solo travellers who’ve explored much of Europe, Asia, and North Africa and now we’re teaming up for a new adventure. We're taking a break from busy London life to explore the world more deeply, learn Spanish, and connect with people from all walks of life.

We’re especially excited to spend time in Spain not only to discover its culture and landscapes, but also to improve our Spanish. Language exchange is something we both enjoy, and we’d be happy to help with English, Farsi, or Azeri in return.

We’ve each lived and studied in the UK for over a decade, and bring a mix of life experience and practical skills to any stay. Azadeh has worked in construction as a Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager, while Shaq is a scientist and researcher. We have a decent grasp of construction basics and enjoy DIY around the house. We’re quite thorough, methodical, and neat with these kinds of tasks.

We also share a love of music, arts, and nature. We're clean, tidy, respectful, non-smokers, and partly vegetarian. We love to cook, stay active, and enjoy good conversation (we’ve got plenty of stories to share!).

We’re friendly, open-minded, and always eager to learn whether it’s a new task, recipe, or perspective.
