Hello! My names Ashlee! I am from a small town in British Columbia, Canada but currently live in the UK. Growing up I've always loved the outdoors and exploring new places, usually via hiking, driving or horseback. I've been fortunate enough that life has let me bring that curiosity over to the UK so I can explore this side of the world a bit more. Originally I came to England to work with competition horses as a groom . After doing that for a few months, it wasn't the right fit for me. So I've started an online business and decided to travel and work for the foreseeable future. I am new to the workaway community, but have tones of experience volunteering back home on farms, at festivals and at horse shows. So certainly not afraid of some manual labour. Some of my favourite past times are, hiking, reading, and being around animals.

My only language is English, but I know a few phrases in French and Spanish. My biggest skill set would be around animal care, specifically horses and dogs. From day to day care and maintenance, to horse back riding, and dog walking. From having my own horses I think I'm fairly handy at basic yard maintenance, fence repairs, moving hay/feed, harrowing the ground, and painting. I also love gardening, both flowers and fruits/veg. I worked as a landscaper for a couple summers and feel confident running a lawn mower and strimmer.

Through my online work I would need some down town in the afternoon/evenings to complete that. But I am happy to be helping in the mornings and around my work schedule. I'm really looking forward to meeting nice people, exploring cool places, and over gaining cool experiences.

She was great company and looked after Dougal so well.
He had a problem with his paws while she was with us, so every day she cleaned his paws and gave them a massage as well as lots of cuddles.
