Activities i am interested in:
I am interested in all kinds of environmental projects, working with animals, touring local sites, and creating connections with local people.
My next destination:
United States - from Feb 2025 until Sep 2025 View allDescription
Oh wow, where to start?! I grew up in a small town in the mountains of Colorado and I love looking out at great big views. Hiking, camping, rafting, and skiing are my favorite, but I'm up for anything outside! I had cashmere goats as a kid and enjoy learning about the agricultural world, but also worked as a public lands steward and appreciate the untouched natural world. In college, I studied biochemistry and hope to someday find a way to heal landscapes as a career, using my training in the micro scale of biology. Small things like cheesecake light a fire inside me and make me so excited! I also love sports, especially ultimate frisbee, which I could play all day every day. Hanging out with animals is another thing I could do all day every day, I learn so much from them! Life is about relationships, I have learned, and creating connections between people from different backgrounds is the spice of life! I just finished doing an exchange with IFYE in Chile, staying at high schools and learning about agriculture. The experience has been so great in creating relationships, so much so that I now know I want to continue exploring worldwide for years to come. I think that in addition to travelling in other countries, I would like to really get to know my own country as well. It has so many differences region to region that I feel as though there is so much to see within the states!
