Hi my name is Antonia,

I’m an 18-year-old from Germany who just finished high school in summer 2024. At the moment, I’m taking some time off from studying to travel, gain new experiences, and figure out what direction I want to take in life.

Traveling has been a big part of my life since I was little, exploring Europe with my parents in our camper van.
What I enjoy most about it is seeing new places and getting used to different environments. I like figuring things out on the go and dealing with situations as they come, even when things don’t go as planned. It’s not always perfect, but I enjoy the challenge and learn a lot from it.

I’m curious, open-minded, and motivated. I enjoy meeting new people and taking on challenges. Whether it’s learning something new, helping where I can, or being part of a team, I’m always ready to get involved.

I’ve always felt the urge to explore more of the world before going to univerity. So here I am – backpacking solo through Southeast Asia.

After high school, I spent three months teaching English in Hanoi, working with students aged 10 to 25. I also had the chance to work at a kindergarten, and it was such a rewarding experience to work with the kids.

Growing up, I always helped my dad with craftsmanship and gardening, and while I’ve learned a lot, I’m eager to expand my skills even more. When it comes to cooking, I’ve been in the kitchen with my mom since I was little, and now I love cooking for friends and family.

I’m a pretty creative person, too. I enjoy sewing my own clothes, sketching, painting, and especially capturing moments through photography.

Sports-wise, I’m all about being outdoors—hiking, climbing, cycling, and camping. But I also enjoy dancing and have plenty of experience with horseback riding and taking care of my two cats.

I think I already have some skills that can be helpful, but I’m always open to learning more!
