Hi there! We are Puk and Anne, two nature-loving, creative, and positive persons open to new adventures!
This year, we are fulfilling a long-time dream: building our own campervan and traveling across Europe! We see this journey as a chance to take a breather from everyday routines, slow down, and truly connect with the world and nature around us. We want to explore new places, dive into our personal interests, learn new skills, and contribute to the communities we visit through Workaway.

About Anne:
Nature is at the heart of who I am. I not only love being surrounded by it, but I also actively care for it. My passion for the natural world extends into my work, where I contribute to making the Netherlands more nature-inclusive and strengthening the connection between people and the environment. Beyond work, I immerse myself in nature during my free time and travels—kayaking through Norway’s fjords, hiking in the Spanish mountains, and simply enjoying the company of animals, from dogs to wildlife.
I also want to deepen my connection with nature by learning more about what it has to offer. I'm especially interested in foraging—discovering what wild plants and fruits are safe to eat and how to live more in tune with the natural world.
In addition, I am passionate about creative projects. I enjoy watercolor painting and loved designing a harmonious color scheme for our campervan—it was one of my favorite parts of the build! Lately, I have also been learning woodworking, such as carving wooden spoons, and I would love to improve my skills by working on creative projects during my Workaway experience. Whether it's painting, crafting, or woodworking, I enjoy making things with my hands.
Living a healthy and balanced life is very important to me. I love being active, spending time outdoors, and surrounding myself with a sense of community. I also have a big passion for cooking, especially using fresh, local vegetables to create delicious and nourishing meals. I enjoy experimenting with flavors, learning about different cuisines, and sharing food with others.
I am a very social person who loves meeting new people and forming meaningful connections. One of the things I look forward to most about Workaway is the chance to bond with others—sharing stories, enjoying good company, and gathering around a bonfire. I’m also very active and enjoy sports like yoga. On top of that, I’m a dedicated rugby player who plays with a lot of enthusiasm and energy!

About Puk:
Hello! I'm someone who thrives on being active and spending time outdoors. Whether it's hitting the gym, exploring nature, or discovering new adventures, I’m always on the move! My daily life is filled with a passion for sports, staying fit, and embracing new challenges. As a teacher, I teach both theoretical subjects and sports lessons at a school, which allows me to combine my love for learning with my enthusiasm for physical activity. I believe in the power of sports and outdoor activities to energize the body and refresh the mind, and I enjoy sharing that passion with others. Exploring new places and trying new things is what makes life exciting for me.

Skills

I’m passionate about teaching and helping others grow. With my teaching background, I have experience in educating children, guiding them through their personal growth journeys, and using sports or outdoor activities as tools to encourage self-discovery and development. I also have handy skills when it comes to DIY tasks—whether it's around the house or outdoors, I enjoy rolling up my sleeves and getting things done. No task is too big or small!

I'm always eager to learn new things and improve my skills. Whether it’s picking up a new craft, learning a new technique, or exploring a new area of expertise, I’m excited to broaden my horizons. I’m looking forward to sharing my knowledge and learning from others in new environments!

I (Anne) am eager to improve my Spanish! I previously lived in Granada for my studies and completed an internship in Ecuador, where I picked up a good foundation in the language. However, I would love to practice more, expand my vocabulary, and become more fluent in conversations.

Puk
I’m a hands-on person who enjoys working with my hands and taking on physical tasks. I have basic woodworking skills, including wood chopping, and I love tackling DIY projects. Building our own campervan was an incredible experience—I worked a lot with wood and learned how to construct, repair, and problem-solve along the way. I’d be more than happy to help with renovation projects, building tasks, or general maintenance work around a house or property.

Another big passion of mine is working with children. I have five years of experience as a physical education teacher, and part of that time was spent doing outdoor education for kids with special needs, including children with autism and those who had dropped out of school. I love creating a fun and engaging environment for kids, whether through sports, outdoor play, or hands-on learning experiences.

I also enjoy physical work and am always up for a challenge. Whether it’s lifting, moving, chopping wood, or any other hands-on tasks, I’m happy to help wherever needed.

Anne
I have a creative eye and love anything related to design and aesthetics. I take pride in creating beautiful and harmonious spaces, and I really enjoyed designing the interior of our campervan. Choosing the right colors, textures, and materials to make it feel cozy and inviting was one of my favorite parts of the process! I would love to help with any design projects, whether that’s decorating, choosing color schemes, or painting. I especially enjoy painting murals or other creative wall art.

I also have a deep love for nature and enjoy working with plants. I have experience taking care of gardens, including vegetable gardens, and I love helping plants thrive. Whether it’s planting, watering, pruning, or learning more about sustainable gardening, I’d love to get involved.

Another area I’m passionate about is woodworking. Together with Puk, we built much of our van’s furniture using reclaimed wood, which taught me a lot about repurposing materials and working with tools. I’d love to continue learning and improving my woodworking skills.

I also have a strong connection with animals, especially dogs. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd for 15 years, so I have a lot of experience taking care of and understanding dogs. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply giving them love and attention, I’m always happy to be around animals.

In addition, I’m a people person and love bringing people together. I have several years of experience organizing events, so if there’s a need for help with planning, coordination, or hosting, I’d be more than happy to contribute!

We love spending time outdoors and connecting with like-minded people. Whether it’s going on a great hike together, sharing stories around a bonfire, or simply enjoying nature, we appreciate meaningful experiences with others. We are eager to learn new skills, open-minded, and always curious about different ways of life. Exploring the culture of each country we visit is something we truly value, whether through local traditions, food, or meeting new people.
