Description
Hey there!
I’m new here and excited to meet interesting people along the way. Traveling and exploring the world is something I truly admire and feel deeply drawn to.
I have a wide range of interests and hobbies — I practice martial arts (Bujinkan, black belt), enjoy reading, sports, bouldering, attending events, spontaneous adventures, good coffee, meaningful conversations, stargazing, hiking/trekking, and music (Depeche Mode is my greatest love). I’m passionate about expanding my knowledge in subjects that fascinate me, whether it’s philosophy, physics, neuroscience, or thought experiments.
While I’m a pretty balanced person, I have many sides to me. I enjoy dressing up and getting dirty in nature. I love connecting with people and need time alone to recharge. I thrive in deep philosophical discussions and love diving into rational complexity. I enjoy physical challenges and mental ones just as much.
Japan has fascinated me ever since I was a child, which is why I want to explore as many cultural aspects of it as possible. I’ve already gained a lot of knowledge about the country and can’t wait to experience it firsthand.
Even though I hold a working holiday visa, I’m not focused on making money — my priority is the experience. I’m looking forward to immersing myself in a completely new culture and meeting like-minded people along the way. And who knows — if we get along, maybe we can travel together sometime! ^^

More details about your skills
I speak German (C2) and English (C1) fluently. My French (B1) is decent — not perfect, but not bad either — and I’m currently learning Japanese, though I’m still at the beginner stage. That said, I’d be happy to teach languages to others and improve my Japanese along the way! 😃
I’m a quick learner and can adapt easily to new situations. I’ve gained hands-on experience in various areas — such as cooking, organizing, serving, and teaching. I currently work in gastronomy, and I’m always open to learning something new. This year, I finished the highest form of schoold education. From September on, I am travelling in Japan. After that, I will probably start studying to be a teacher.
I’m also comfortable taking care of children and animals. We once had a dog, and over the years, we’ve had many different pets at home — so I know how to look after animals properly.
When it comes to children, for example, I regularly assist with the children’s martial arts classes at our dojo, which has given me valuable experience in working with kids in a structured and respectful environment. This is just one of many situations where I’ve been around children and enjoyed supporting them
For quite some time now, I’ve been consciously working on my communication skills. I regularly do self-reflection, and I’ve studied rhetoric and non-verbal communication (like body language). I’ve attended seminars, read books, and applied what I learned in real situations — because I truly believe that good communication is key, especially when working with or around different kinds of people.
I’ve traveled in groups before — including language exchanges, survival camps, and trips with my siblings. I’m incredibly excited about Japan. The chance to constantly experience new things and connect with new people along the way is something I really value.
I’m a flexible, highly motivated and enthusiastic person — I don’t need much to be happy, and I’m always ready to work hard and help wherever I can.

My experiences here had been really great. I met awesome people and the work had been a lot of fun. Also, since we had been working DIY, it had been a great opportunity to learn from others as well. Somehow, it became a second home. Thank you very much for letting me join… read more
