Hello!! My name is Alie and I’m from Chicago and I just graduated college with degree in Anthropology. I have studied and worked in Tunisia and Argentina and am very culturally adaptable. I am so so excited to start my work away journey and learn about and aid in new environments. I am very motivated and I am passionate about photography, I am skilled in social media creation and have worked for years in hospitality so I am very comfortable and kind with guests. I am moving to Spain in October and would love to help anyone who thinks I am a good fit throughout this September and beyond!

I am skilled in teaching, childcare, outdoor labor, photography, and hospitality. I have worked in restaurants for almost 8 years and I thoroughly enjoy hospitality. I additionally have worked in nonprofit childcare positions for several years. I have volunteered in summer camps and I’m skilled in care of both individual children and large classroom children. In Tunisia I taught English. Additionally while I was in Tunisia, I worked for a nonprofit human rights organisation where I created their social media presence and led several campaigns. I am passionate gardener and grew up around farms. Overall, I am very capable and social and hard-working. I love learning new skills so anything I have not listed I am eager to work towards mastering!!

I believe with my knowledge from working with nonprofit organizations in low-income neighborhoods in Argentina, teaching in schools, working with refugee resettlement organizations in Chicago, and working with human rights, youth organizations in Tunisia, I feel prepared to be a dedicated addition to a cross-cultural team! I also love animals and learning about food!
