Hello!

We are Alice, Paolo, and our little daughter Ida Futura. We love nature, slow travel, and cultural exchange, and we want to share our time, energy, and curiosity with people and projects that inspire us.

Paolo, with a degree in Exercise Science, has experience in educational projects for children and enjoys combining sports and outdoor activities. I, Alice, have often worked in educational projects and have participated in Workaway and WOOFing, collaborating in both agricultural projects and hospitality settings (hostels, guest welcoming, practical tasks).

Our greatest motivation is to help Ida grow up in a natural and authentic environment, surrounded by kind people, genuine experiences, and small daily moments that teach curiosity, respect, and joy for life. We are looking for an opportunity where we can truly contribute, learn together, and experience meaningful moments as a family.

We are flexible, responsible, and full of enthusiasm, ready to immerse ourselves in local life, bringing energy, skills, and a strong desire to learn and share.

Paolo é formado em Ciências do Esporte, tem experiência em projetos educativos para crianças e gosta de combinar esporte com atividades ao ar livre. Eu, Alice, já trabalhei em diversos projetos educativos e participei de experiências de Workaway e WWOOFing, colaborando tanto em projetos agrícolas quanto em espaços de hospedagem (hostels, recepção de hóspedes e tarefas práticas do dia a dia).

Nossa maior motivação é permitir que Ida cresça em um ambiente natural e autêntico, cercada por pessoas acolhedoras, experiências genuínas e pequenos gestos cotidianos que lhe ensinem curiosidade, respeito e alegria de viver. Procuramos uma oportunidade onde possamos realmente contribuir, aprender juntos e viver momentos significativos em família.

Paolo, laureato in Scienze Motorie, ha esperienza con progetti educativi per bambini e ama unire sport e attività all’aria aperta. Io, Alice, ho spesso lavorato in progetti educativi e ho già partecipato a Workaway e WOOFing, collaborando sia in realtà agricole che in strutture ricettive (ostelli, accoglienza ospiti, attività pratiche).

We are a versatile and curious family with diverse but complementary experiences. Paolo, a fitness, pilates, and boxing instructor, also works with children and brings educational and sports skills, while I, Alice, have a solid background in food & beverage and hospitality, with hands-on experience in guest services and agricultural projects through Workaway and WOOFing. We speak fluent Spanish and English, have basic knowledge of French, learn new skills quickly, and enjoy DIY and practical tasks. We are sensitive, empathetic, and have excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working with people of all ages. We are not afraid to “get our hands dirty”—in fact, we love getting involved in hands-on work. Moreover, we are committed and sensitive to social justice, human rights, and activism, values we aim to share by example and within the communities that host us.

Siamo una famiglia versatile e curiosa, con esperienze diverse ma complementari. Paolo, istruttore di fitness, pilates e boxe, anche con bambini, porta competenze educative e sportive, mentre io, Alice, ho un solido background nel food & beverage e nell’accoglienza, con esperienza pratica in strutture ricettive e progetti agricoli grazie a Workaway e WOOFing. Parliamo fluentemente spagnolo e inglese, e abbiamo una conoscenza di base del francese, impariamo rapidamente nuove competenze e amiamo il fai-da-te e le attività pratiche. Siamo sensibili, empatici e portiamo con noi eccellenti doti relazionali, adatte a lavorare con persone di tutte le età, e non abbiamo alcun timore di “sporcarci le mani”, anzi, ci entusiasma metterci concretamente al lavoro. This place, these people, and the "egregora" that naturally forms when everyone lives and works together here are very difficult to explain. It's something that must be experienced rather than described. We felt a strong sense of belonging, kindness, and genuine human connection throughout our stay.
This is also a project that is still in its… read more early stages. Anyone who comes here should arrive with a genuine willingness to contribute, to share their energy, skills, and time. At the same time, be aware that you will most likely receive far more than you give.
What we would like to emphasize is that these people deserve support. They are building something that feels genuinely sacred and important. This dream has only just been born, yet it is already guided by a clear and inspiring vision.
Their vision may seem utopian to some, but it is rooted in values that can truly make the world a better place: community, respect, cooperation, connection with nature, and a sincere desire to create a different way of living together. We sincerely hope they find the people who will help this dream grow and flourish.

One last thing is important to understand: children are at the heart of this project. The rhythm of daily life, the priorities, and many of the decisions revolve around their well-being and growth. Because of this, a certain level of emotional maturity and relational awareness is essential.
This is not a typical Workaway experience. It is not a place to simply pass through, nor a place for unmanaged conflict, negativity, or drama. It is a space that asks for presence, respect, and genuine care for others.
Come only if you feel a sincere calling toward what is being created here, and if you truly believe you can contribute with a positive attitude, an open heart, and love. If you do, you may find that this experience touches you far more deeply than you expected.
On a personal level, we left feeling deeply connected to this place and to the people who call it home. What began as a Workaway experience quickly became something much more meaningful.

We feel that we have found true friends here, and in many ways, a family. Because of that, everything we have written comes from a place of genuine care and affection. We care deeply about this project, the people behind it, and the beautiful vision they are bringing into the world.
We are profoundly grateful for the time we shared together and hope our paths will continue to cross in the years to come.
