I'm a recent college graduate from the United States with a passion for travel and learning about different cultures. I grew up in a very rural part of the U.S. with few opportunities to venture outside of our little farming community, and I hope that Workaway can be the perfect chance to really break out of my bubble.

I love any and all outdoor activities - hiking, biking, boating, fishing, gardening/farming - and am excited to see the different ecosystems throughout the Americas. I'm fascinated by history - the history of the Americas in particular - and am thrilled by the possibility of learning about other nations' histories firsthand.

My background as a student is in the humanities - history, political science, public policy - but I also have varying degrees of experience in agriculture and gardening, community organizing, driving large vehicles, customer service, and general labor. I'm a very quick study and typically do not have trouble picking up tasks and skills.

What else ...

I've always done well with animals, whether pets or farm animals. I like them and they generally like me. My mother ran a daycare out of our house for years when I was young, so I am very good at caring for small children. . I absolutely love baseball and can talk about it for hours, but I like to watch most sports. I know relatively little about football (soccer) and would like to learn more about it.
