Description
Hello Friends, Merhaba, welcome to an unique Project close to Essaouira, the artist City of Morocco. We are located in the little village Diabat in an old Hostel / Artist Gallery with beautiful paintings on the walls, a general charming atmosphere and the Sea (Kitsurfing and surfing is a big thing here) not far away. Also a ranch for Horse, Camel and Donkey riding is close to us.
We enjoy a very trustful and good relationship to our neighbours while sharing a lot and enjoy to live on the countryside in morocco, close to the nature.Types of help and learning opportunities

It is very common that we cook, eat, play music, work together with our neighbours and learn from each others culture and language.
Our Neighbours are really always happy to teach us all about Moroccan and Berber culinary, history, language, painting, etc.Help
As we are renovating our old charming artist house we are always looking for people with experience in handyman stuff like woodworking, carpenting, metalwork and so on.
Furthermore artist are always welcome as there are several projects upcoming with our friend and artist aziz zihounti thanks to whom diabat is becoming a little more colorful every week.Languages

We have a Dorm, a big sleeping room and a little privacy room with a bed on the terrace. We also share one bathroom and one big Kitchen.
Typically to the Moroccan architecture the living room is in the center of the house and next to a Bougainvillea only the sky or stars are above you.
Most Suitable is for you to sleep in the Dorm room. Some people love it to just take a mattress to the roof and sleep under the stars.
Regarding food - i am happy to share our big kitchen with you. In the best case we can learn from each other cooking skills. You can find the basics in the shops in the village and if you need to make a big grocery shopping please organize yourself with youssef or take the bike for groceryshoppings. What else ...
In the time off you can do some Yoga on the terrace, read some books, be sportive in our little "gym", go for kite surfing or a kite lesson, surfing, riding the horses at the beach (maybe during sunset), have huge walks on an almost empty beach or just enjoy the city.
We have a bike here which can be taken at any time.A little more information
