Help
I mainly need help with cleaning and gardening.
If you have any skills or interests to contribute, I would find things for you to do in those areas. Also, it would be lovely if you can inspire my homeschooled children with whatever hobbies you have, and your homeland culture, whether you are from overseas or nz:-)
If time allows and ideas and visions evolve, there could be other things that we need help with, but right now I'm just focusing on meeting new people, sharing nourishing food, joyful and peaceful living, and using our time and energy in an intentional way.
I'm thinking the times that I will need your help is probably Sunday-Thursday between 8am- 1pm. If these hours don't work for you, I am flexible.Languages

English: FluentThis host offers a language exchange
My children would love to learn some of your language if possible.Accommodation
Our house is rather noisy so you may appreciate the quiet space that you will have in your own separate cabin with a single bed, a couch, drawers for clothing, tea/coffee facilities, and electricity.
There is also beachfront space for a van for those of you who are road tripping around our beautiful country.
Our cosy lounge is open for you to join us at anytime you like. We only have one bathroom and toilet!
Three shared meals on the days you are working. Fridays and Saturdays are unpredictable for us and we often eat very simply.
The food here is predominantly vegetarian, garlic and onion free, and low on the wheat, gluten, and dairy. I am happy to accommodate if you have any special dietary requirements. What else ...
We live 15 minutes away from Blenheim, so ideally you would have your own vehicle, but we can work around this if you don't.
There is no public transport to where we live.
There are beautiful beaches, bays, and bush walks nearby. Whites Bay over the hill is a popular place to camp and hang out for locals and travelers. There is a golf course and tennis court across the road.
Although we have smart phones, we don't have computers, wifi, video games or TV. I use my phone intentionally, and none of the kids have their own phone.
If you stay with us please ask if you can take photos of the kids as I don't want anything on social media thankyou:-)
