Help
I would love help mostly with planning, preparing and cooking predominantly vegetarian meals. I like to keep meals ayurvedic friendly, garlic and onion free, and low on the meat, wheat and dairy, but aren't super strict. If you know how to cook dal and rice, that would be awesome. I have many recipe books for ideas. Also i would love help with making sourdough bread, foraging and preserving.
Some cleaning and yard work will be required, but we have a good routine going on already. It would be lovely if you can inspire my homeschooled children with whatever skills you have, and your homeland culture, whether you are from overseas or nz:-)
If time allows and ideas and visions evolve, there could be other things we need help with, but right now I'm just focusing on nourishing food, meaningful relationships, joyful and peaceful living, and using our time and energy in an intentional way.
I'm thinking times that I will need your help is probably Monday-Friday between 9:30-11:30am and 3pm-6pm. That makes 5 hours a day, 5 days each week.Languages

Our house is rather noisy so you may appreciate the quiet space that you will have in your own separate cabin with a single bed, a couch, drawers for clothing, tea/coffee facilities, and electricity.
Our cosy lounge is open for you to join us at anytime you like. We only have one bathroom and toilet!
2 communal meals a day, lunch and dinner. Help yourself to whatever you would like for breakfast, before 9am. Please provide your own snacks at this stage. Cooking communal meals on your days off, we can be flexible about depending on your plans and our plans for those days. What else ...
Please only apply if you have your own vehicle as we live 15 out of Blenheim.
There are beautiful beaches, bays, and bush walks nearby. Whites Bay over the hill is a popular place to camp and hang out for locals and travelers.
Although we have smart phones, we don't have computers, wifi, video games or TV. I use my phone intentionally, and none of the kids have their own phone.
If you stay with us please ask if you can take photos of the kids as I don't want anything on social media, thank you:-)
Also please only apply if you are happy to cook and eat what we eat. Although there are a few junk food addicts in the house, as the mother, I have a deep passion for nourishing my family with good, natural, and simple food, which is the main reason I need your help:-)
My husband loves smoking, but he does this outside. I don't smoke.A little more information
