We are Anja and Isi. We live in a 100-year-old Swiss house in the center of Bremen. There is always something to do here ;-) The garden has almost 2,000m²; half is a small forest, the other part is kind of "normal" garden. This is an open and friendly house where friends, family and Workawayers are most welcome.
I myself have traveled a lot in private and professional and am looking forward to Workawayers from all over the world, who are interested in culture exchange and who like to tackle and support. It`s a house with heart and soul where Isi and I have found a home. Isi is a 9-year-old dog, who is a bit anxious in the beginning, but sooner or later everyone's heart has been won.

We offer you a warm-hearted home where friends drop by for dinner, discussion and talk. You can learn our language (we also speak english and a bit french ;-)) and how to work with anxious dogs.
Generally Bremen offers the opportunity to take professional German classes: there are the Goethe Institute as well as many private language schools (e.g. CASA) in Bremen, just in case ;-)
I am looking for someone who is reliable and gives her/his best. People who love and respect animals and nature, who like to communicate and who are open minded. There is also always work like cutting grass or gardening tasks (e.g. making wood, pruning trees, woodwork) and there are plenty of projects in and around the house (grind furniture & glaze new, building sth.) etc. Here it is great if you have certain skills but this is not mandatory, a helping ambitious hand is already great.

You have your own lockable room. Next door, a room is occasionally rented to AirBnB guests. You share bathroom & kitchen with me (guests have their own). In the fridge you will your own compartment. If you like to and we find the time we can have dinner together - generally you can cook for your own, of course.
Bremen is a cosy city. People still say "hello" to each other. It is a nice place to explore e.g. the famous town hall (World Heritage!), Bremer Stadtmusikanten and the historic city centre with all its nice Cafés and small alleys ...
We live in Bremen-Hastedt. To the city centre you only need 10 minutes by tram/bike. The connection to public transport is great; but you can also borrow a bike from me. In a less than 10-minutes-walk you come to the river "Weser" where people hang out in the summer, go for a run or having a walk with the dog. A perfect spot just to get out of city-noise.
