  Hello workawayers!
  Mom is a traveler at heart and a former workawayer. Dad studied philosophy and now travels around the U.S. for work. We met during the pandemic swiping right, fell in love, and got a rescue dog. We got pregnant and got married. Daughter is a toddler and we had a baby last November. Our chiweenie (chihuahua/dachshund mix) dog is 10+ years old.
  
  We moved to Las Vegas from San Diego, California. We miss the beach and the breeze but we like being a local and exploring what the local scene has to offer. We left California for a better quality of life and to grow our little family.
  
  We are looking forward to sharing our home and cultures.

  Mom speaks Spanish and some French. She has good cooking skills and can cook really good Mexican food.
  Mom is also an event planner and can teach you how to run a music festival.
  
  You can practice your English with Dad. In college, he had a job as an English tutor so he is excellent at revising grammar and papers.

  Help

  General home help, cleaning, fixing the backyard or building furniture. Going on walks with the dog, if weather permits. Go to grocery store runs and help carry bags, etc.

  This host offers a language exchange
  Mom speaks Spanish and French. Dad took German in high school. We welcome French speakers that can help with baby vocabulary and Spanish speakers that can encourage babies and dad to keep learning. We would love to start a French/Spanish book collection for the kids. If you have any used Spanish/French children's books or if you can buy your favorite books from when you were a child to share, we will happily reimburse the cost of these.

  Accommodation

  Private room, shared bathroom.
  We will provide 2-3 meals daily, which is part of our daily routine.
  If you like to cook we are happy to hand over the kitchen to you!
  We accommodate for vegetarian options but vegan is really hard for us.
  
  Non-smokers only, per our house lease.

  What else ...

  We prefer 21+ travelers because there is a lot more to do when you are 21+.
  
  We look forward to exploring the city together, but you are welcome to also explore the city on your own.
  There are many perks to being a Vegas local and we want to share that. From museums, waterparks, the strip, the grand canyon, etc.
  There is bus routes walking distance from our house, there is also a tram that connects the strip hotels. We plan to get a bicycle soon.
