🏡 Help Needed with Decluttering & Garden Projects in a creative Melbourne Home
Hello! I’m Lazz, and I live in a comfortable, creative home in a lovely, quiet pocket of Melbourne’s north in Thornbury—close to trams, trains, buses, and all the vibrant culture this city has to offer. BTW- Thornbury High Street was voted the coolest Street in the world last year. I am more impressed by the Merri Creek and the long corridor of parkland on my doorstep. I am a regular volunteer and would love to introduce you to the parklands.
About me- About me- I have a strong interest in the arts and gardening. I enjoy cooking and having a friendly yarn. I don’t watch much TV and tend to lead a busy life away from home. I enjoy swimming, cooking, textile arts and walks along the creek. I often attend music gigs and visit galleries once a week. I am happy to include you in my activities. I could even share my creative skills.
I’m currently looking for a reliable, practical, and trustworthy individual to stay for short periods (1-2 weeks) and lend a hand around the house and in the garden.
🕙 Your schedule:
3 hours of assistance per day and happy to condense work or work around the weather, so you have more free time.
I’m happy to recommend lots of interesting and free places to visit around Melbourne—art, food, sport, markets, nature walks and more. I can show you some local places and you will discover that Thornbury has a vibe of its own and lots of public transport. I am happy to include you with any events or community projects I am working on.
You’re welcome to cook your own meals or we can cook together (I love a big cook up) and I can offer a relaxed and respectful home environment. Minimum stay is 1 week.
🔒 Proof of ID (e.g., passport) is required upon arrival.
🛏️ Single person only.
🚭 Non-smoking home.

I am keen to share my knowledge of gardening and perhaps even teach you a new creative skill. Would you like to learn to make a felt scarf? I have a studio space in Heidelburg and you can choose to come along with me when I attend a workshop.
I regularly attend the Northcote pool.

Healthy cooking is my thing- I love to collaborate in the kitchen. Coffee in the morning is a must!Help
🧺 What I need help with:🏡 Help Needed with Decluttering & Garden Projects in Creative Melbourne Home
• Photographing and listing clothes on eBay (I have too many clothes from a past working life!)
• Light gardening. (I am looking to weave some palm fronds in a wire fence) This is an interesting project and part of creating a garden for wildlife. If I get some grasses, we may be able to plant them.)
• Removal of a few small plants
• Clearing out and reorganising kitchen cupboards and a bit of decluttering.
• Occasional odd jobs (cleaning the oven) around the house, as I am unable to bend over.
• My lifestyle has become more relaxed since I’ve stopped working, and my home is filled with treasures I’d love to sort through. If you’re organised, practical, and enjoy a calm, creative environment, I’d love to hear from you.

I live 8km from the CBD and is easily commutable to Melbourne on public transport or the extensive network of bicycle or walking paths. There is lots to see in the city with galleries, laneways, parks I can also share with you things that are not on the mainstream tourist list. I would prefer to work with your interests and then provide the local knowledge.
I would recommend hiring a bicycle to get around.A little more information
