    Description

Welcome to my restored old stone house, nestled in a peaceful valley between the mountains and the ocean on Galicia’s remote stunning Atlantic coast. This home features a large garden filled with trees and grapevines, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. You’ll find countless paths nearby to explore the forest, rivers, mountains, and one of Galicia´s most beautiful wild beach, just minutes away. The bus stop is a short 5-minute walk.

I am a single woman in my late 30ies, seeking a long-term (min. 1 year) co-living experience with a reliable, empathetic woman who loves animals and appreciates peaceful, simple living.

This is a special place to slow down, recharge, and immerse yourself in calm, nature-connected living. I value calmness, reliability, good communication, and mutual respect. I’m hoping to share this experience with someone independent, easygoing, and open to meaningful conversations-someone who sees this not just as a task, but as a true co-living opportunity rooted in trust, presence, and care.

Nearby, you’ll find local markets, charming cafés, and a wonderful music school open to all ages and levels. Whether you want to relax by the sea, explore nature, or simply enjoy quiet reflection, this is a unique and peaceful spot to call home.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying here offers the opportunity to connect with the deep and unique culture of Galicia. You'll be immersed in a rural community where Galician and Spanish are both spoken daily, giving you the chance to practice and learn both languages in a natural and welcoming environment. This region culture is deeply rooted in music, nature, and community traditions.

Our small village and surrounding area are home to a warm, talented, and creative local community, with many musicians and artists who are always open to sharing their passion. There's a fantastic local music school that brings people together across generations.

You’ll have the chance to experience a way of life that is slower, more intentional, and closely tied to the land and seasons. From small local markets to village celebrations and coastal rituals, this is a place where culture isn’t a performance, but a living, breathing part of daily life.

You would be caring for my two wonderful dogs: Ianus, a Mudi, and Wilma, a rescue girl from Portugal. You would feed, walk, and play with them daily. The two cats, Fridolin and Yuki, also enjoy gentle cuddles.

When I travel for work, I’ll need you to fully housesit, looking after the home with care and responsibility.

You’d help keep the garden thriving by watering the trees daily and doing occasional weeding. I’d also ask you to contribute to keeping the house neat and clean, including deep cleaning every now and then. Ideally, you’d take over the weekly grocery shopping.

If you enjoy cooking, I’d be delighted to share and enjoy your meals, though this is completely optional. I’d love to cook together occasionally, but if you prefer to prepare your own meals, that’s perfectly fine too.
