  Description

  (with a reimbursement) We will provide with free accommodation plus offer a monetary payment of at least the minimum wage depending on the season
  
  
  we are an Italian couple (43y. and 51y.) moved to Lapland from Rome. We have around 40 dogs (Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute). We are looking for help with our own house dogs in the daily care, puppies, training, or dog sledding in winter. The work is very different between the winter and spring/summer seasons. Our high season work is very demanding and challenging due to the weather and the few hours of daylight. There are husky safaris every day and of course the daily management of cleaning and food, shoveling snow, wood, cleaning and hotel rooms and help in the restaurant. During the summer the work with the dogs is quieter but always challenging until the autumn with the daily training work. There are maintenance works in the structure (grass cutting, fences, kennels, painting, wood for the winter, path maintenance) as well as the restaurant and hotel when there are customers. The refund varies based on the season and length of your stay.
  
  For the type of work we accept Workawayers at least 25 years of age
  
  ATTENTION: for the next winter season (from around mid-October to April) we are looking for someone to manage the kitchen-restaurant (preparing breakfasts, managing the pizzeria during safari times and any dinners for hotel guests), cleaning and managing payments. A dynamic person capable of working independently, under stress who has experience in the kitchen (you do not need the qualification of "chef")

  Place completely immersed in the woods, where you can appreciate nature and quiet, admire the Northern Lights or the midnight sun. you can practise English, Finnish or Italian. You can meet local people and visit some small cities around the farm.

  Help

  The helper works about 5 hours a day. depending on the request. Helping us with our house dogs, playing with puppies, feeding, training, and supporting us during sleddogs, restaurant and hotel, daily maintenance.
