Description
Hello, we are Johannes and Lidia and we live in Roses. I work in IT and Lidia is working at a Spa. Lidia her son Christian is also living here and loves football.
Our project concerns doing up the old house we live in now as it has a lot of little jobs that really need fixing. Downstairs it's all around the house and the swimming pool that needs a do up. There is painting, cement, wood and waterworks to do. Helping out in the household since we both work is also very welcome. In this sense a travelling couple has our preference. And than there is the garage. Which we'd love to change into a multifunctional space for gymnastics, (aero)yoga and more. As you probably realized the house has two floors.
The top floor is, not always, available as a living space for our workaway guests. Some times its yours, sometimes you share this floor. Here mainly the bathroom needs doing and we'd like to put a new (lightweight) roof on the solarium. There is the living room with TV, two bedrooms, a terrace to relax and sunbath. If not available we have a spare room downstairs. The area has a lot of historical, also Roman and Greek, places to visit, is wonderful for walking, birdwatching, bike rides and off course the beach. Sky diving in the next village and Cadaqués, the place were Dali had his house, is also worth visiting. From the house it's a fifteen minute walk to the beach. We have bikes and paddle boards, a car, two friendly dogs and a cat. We speak Dutch, English, German, French, Catalan and Spanish.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
Jobs important for this moment are:
Upstairs: Bathroom repairs, which is lifting the bath and replacing the drainage pipes. Putting some new cupboards. Solarium Roof replacement (light weight and not working on top, just wood work and replacing roof panels from the inside of the room.
Downstairs. Swimming pool area needs cement work and some maintenance in general.
We'd like to turn it into a nice, tranquil, relaxing part of the house. A part of the wall around the house needs repairs, a water drainage needs to be made.
Helping in the house in general would include shopping, washing, cooking, cleaning. Although we eat meat, we love cooking vegetarian.Languages
