    Description

What the beautiful Tasmania has to offer is right at the doorstep. I am interested in learning Japanese and Korean, and would love to have someone who is interested in a language/culture exchange arrangement. I can host your stay and local experiencing here in Tassie, you can teach me Japanese and/or Korean. If you can also cook some Japanese/Korean food for us (I will provide ingredients of course), that would be a great bonus. It should be a fun experience. I look forward to welcoming you.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You can practise English language with me, and experience the beautiful Tasmania while you are here. I am a very much beginner in Japanese and Korean language learning. So not much pressure on you really. As long as we have fun, that's all good. We take it easy.

A language/culture exchange arrangement will be great. You teach me Japanese/Korean; I host the local Tassie experience for you. We can talk, laugh, cook, wander around, maybe a bit of travel too if timing suits. Hope the arrangement brings both of us new experience and joy. If you can help with some housework like gardening, cleaning etc., I would be very thankful. If you can cook some Japanese/Korean food, that would be wonderful.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

You will be staying in my house, about 10 mins drive from Hobart city. You will have a separate bedroom. There is no bus service near the house though. So I will be mainly driving you around (unless you can drive and would like to hire a car). In terms of food, it can be quite flexible. We can do three meals at home each day (I will provide the food). But if you would like to go out to eat/drink either by yourself or with friends every now and then, please feel free to (in which case you will be looking after your own cost of eating/drinking out).
