    Description

Hi, I'm Philip and I have a Villa here on Kos which I host to a large variety of families, friends and groups. It's a very private villa with pool set amongst Palm trees and 100 Olive trees. Each year I try introduce something new and exciting for the Villa. Last year was no exception and we created a mosaic floor (5.5 meter diameter circular) This was to be the floor for a Yurt. As well as this there is always some gardening work and light painting to be done. I want to put in quite a bit of outdoor lighting this year for the avenue, gate and amongst the olive trees, so there's something creative to get stuck into too. Each year I will always think up something creative to do and this winter it's outdoor murals. I have someone with me at the moment helping with that so I'm closing the calendar until 1st November 2024. If anyone is thinking about this time frame then please contact me and tell me your interests

The Villa can be found on different websites. When someone makes contact I'll tell the name. The reviews from the guests over the past few years will tell you a bit more about me and how I welcome and look after my guests.

Oh and I have two Greek Shepherd dogs who love walks!!! I take them at least once a day but if you care to you can head out down the beautiful forests and fields that surround the villa

I've lived in Greece for 5 years. It's an amazing and friendly place here on Kos. Quite a large proportion of the people work here in the tourist business so you'll meet lots of young people who travel and work and want to experience new places and cultures. It's peaceful here at the villa, I have yoga groups that are coming this year because they love the vibe from the place. Anyone that comes will feel that vibe and enjoy staying here. I'm a fairly handy cook and will include you in all meals.

I seem to have mentioned most of it above. But look at it like this. It's a private Villa that I own and live in off season. The season will start again the 1st April. Preparing the villa for the new season is something I do myself and mainly it's because I am a perfectionist. The mosaic floor for the yurt mentioned above will require some time but I collected a lot of old tiles and have made a start. When I make contact with anyone I can forward pictures.

There are three main bedrooms in the Villa. Whoever comes has a private room with ensuite accessed from a separate door just outside the back door of the living room. Share the large living room and kitchen with the owner. Wifi, bluetooth player, smart tv, all the usual things you would expect from a rental villa in Greece. I cook and will look after that side of things. Just keep the place as tidy as I do and that's the only thing I ask

    What else ...

I would like someone who is willing to work four to five hours maximum per day. That varies and this house is a democracy so we decide jointly when we do things. The villages of Puli and Zipari are about 4km each away. Kos town is a 20 minute drive. There are local buses pass the top of the lane a number of times each day. I go with the dogs to the Flamingo Salt Lake for walks most days or drive to town, so there will be plenty lifts from me too.
