we have a campsite at lake bunyonyi in africa. this project has been partially destroyed by heavy rainfalls and need big renovation and a new set-up. we are going to built in traditional style (mud/claybuilding) combined with european style some new rooms for the guests, to repair the reception building, to finish some cottages, to tile the old huts, to repair the roofes and many things more. we need to put a solar power systhem to bring electricity to the guest huts and a water-system (pump and watertank) to supply the bathrooms for the guests and for the main house. of cours a lot of regular repairs have to be done also. we are looking for people with some knowledge, but mainly with good will and to active hands... its enough, if you love to work with your hands and body, if you want to learn something about local buildung ways and if you are commited to help in making our "lost paradise beach" in uganda again attractive and give it a new face.... the whole process will involve also local people, local builders and helpers. so there is a great possibility for intercultural exchange. of course everybody will be paid based on local standards. For now we have one stable worker, which is the housekeeper. but when work starts we will employ around 3-5 builders/helpers.

you will be absolutely in cludet in local community. experience the real africa through being a part of our society. take part in the community events, meet and befriend locals, work with them, experience their life and lifestyle, including food and all connected to daily life. we are direct on water, on a peninsula, it is a bit far to the next town and to the tourist regions. so be prepared for real village life in africa!
no special skills needed, but it is good to have some experience in building, but mainly: to have a will to learn new things by doing them together in team. there is ever different jobs to do: from cleaning, gardening, maintenance, digging, designing, roofing, water and electro engineering and so on.
