  Description

  I'm Raúl and I've been living in Los Villanuevas, a neighbourhood in Olba, Teruel, for more than 2 years. I am from Barcelona but I have lived in Madrid and London as well as having travelled almost all over the world for work. Currently I have a craft workshop next to my house where I work with natural fibres such as wicker, cane or seagrass, creating lamps, sculptures ... the environment where I live is surrounded by nature and next to the river Mijares. I have 2 horses, 12 hens and a dog.
  
  Soy Raúl y vivo desde hace algo más de 2 años en Los Villanuevas un barrio de Olba, Teruel. Soy de Barcelona pero he vivido en Madrid y Londres ademas de haber viajado casi por todo el mundo por trabajo. Actualmente tengo un taller de artesanía junto a mi casa donde trabajo con fibras naturales como el mimbre, la caña o el seagrass, creando lámparas, esculturas … el entorno donde vivo es plena naturaleza y junto al río Mijares. Tengo 2 caballos, 12 gallinas y una perra.

  They can learn animal care, live in nature, language exchange and get to know the villages of empty Spain.
  In the area there are hiking trails, climbing and a culturally active community. The village offers paid classes in yoga, viodance, circus, theatre, fishing in the river (with permission) or bathing.
  Both the cane and the village are situated in a beautiful rural area where you can learn from nature every day.
  
  Pueden aprender cuidado de animales, vivir en la naturaleza, intercambio de idiomas y conocer los pueblos de la España vaciada.
  En la zona hay rutas de senderismo, escalada y una comunidad activa culturalmente. El pueblo ofrece clases pagadas de yoga, viodanza, circo, teatro… se puede practicar pesca en el río (previo permiso) o bañarse.
  Tanto la caña como el pueblo está situado en una zona rural preciosa donde aprender de la naturaleza cada día.

  The tasks I need are general help with the house, the farm, the corrals, stables and the animals as well as their maintenance and cleaning.
  I speak English and Spanish and could be a good exchange for both.
  
  Las tareas que necesito son ayuda general en la casa, la finca, los corrales, cuadras y los animales como su mantenimiento y limpieza. Ademas de ampliación de nuevos cercados para los caballos.
  Hablo inglés y español y podría ser un buen intercambio para ambos.

  Accommodation

  Casa de 3 plantas en plena naturaleza con 3 habitaciones, oficina, cocina, comedor, salón, patio con barbacoa, taller, 2 cuadras, almacén y gallinero. Calefacción y chimeneas. Muy luminosa y acogedora con todo tipo de comodidades, internet por satélite. La casa se encuentra al final del pueblo con preciosas vistas a las huertas, río y montaña. No TV. No hay establecimientos (supermercado, panadería, farmacia, bar..) en el pueblo, lo más próximo está a 4 km.

  Very limited public transport. You need a car for all types of travel. Only 1 daily bus to Teruel 3 days a week.
  Hiking and climbing routes very close to the house, on foot. Baths in the river.
  Privileged night sky for observation.
  Paying in the village there are classes of yoga, pilates, viodance, theatre, circus... and more specific courses during the year.
  Sunday market every second Sunday of the month where you can find 0 km products and exchange them.
  1 monthly art exhibition in the village with local artists.
  Patron saint festivals in summer.
  Orchards and irrigation ditches that give life to the area.
  
  Transporte público muy limitado. Se necesita coche para todo tipo de desplazamientos. Solo 1 autobús diario a Teruel 3 días a la semana.
  Rutas de senderismo y escalada muy cerca de la casa, a pie.
  Baños en el río.
  Cielo nocturno privilegiado para la observación.
  Pagando en el pueblo hay clases de yoga, pilates, viodanza, teatro, circo… y más cursos específicos durante el año.
  Mercadillo dominguero cada segundo domingo de mes donde encontrar productos de km 0 y poder hacer intercambios.
  1 exposición mensual de arte en el pueblo con artistas de la zona.
  Fiestas patronales en verano.
  Huertos y acequias que dan vida a la zona.
