    Description

We are a non-profit group that hosts a Festival every 4 years in October. This amazing natural event has millions of sockeye salmon (other species too) swim from the ocean to the Adam's River to spawn (lay their eggs). The Adam's River in the Roderick Haig-Brown Park will attract up to 250,000 people during the 3 week Festival. This Festival happens this year from Sept. 28 to Oct. 21 The Park is located in the Shuswap Lakes in the interior of BC

    Help

Volunteers are need to help set up and take down the Festival area. During the run, volunteers are needed to help with the parking - this has to be one of the most fun parking jobs. Volunteers have salmon cut outs to direct traffic so everyone wants their picture taken with you. Other jobs may include helping with the souvenir tent or just being an event ambassador of the event.
