The Foundation is establishing a vocational training centre located near the Dehradun valley’s Mohand area in close proximity to the Rajaji National Park, for handloom and dying craft, silage making, fodder preservation, vegetable waste composting and food processing, to improve the socio-economic condition of backward communities with a focus on the girl child; to have innovative action-oriented workshops for the benefit of child and women labour likely to be helpful to create self help groups, and forming youth clubs for entrepreneurship development, character building against social evils, preservation of cultural heritage; and will also provide health education on rural sanitation. A watershed management project to enhance drinking water supply and an agro-horticulture project with cash crops such as industrial hemp is being built. It has started with India’s first handmade hemp paper manufacturing facility along with an in-house healthcare shelter for unclaimed bulls, cows and calves; which will build on to be a self-sustaining micro dairy processing unit, working on renewable energy from biogas. Our vision is to create a performance space for artists, to strengthen sports infrastructure, science education, culture and values education, environmental education along with the vocationalisation of secondary education in rural schools, universalisation of elementary education, as well as integration of education for disabled children.

We're looking for various interns for the following:
1. Hindi-speaking volunteers to kickstart the disability assistance project and the women empowerment.
2. Help with Fundraising with CSR, Microfinance, Banks etc. Also, liaison with government agencies.

The site is located in the countryside in a rural area near the Buggawala area of Dehradun region in Uttarakhand state of India. The nearest highway is 5 km away at Biharigarh of the Delhi-Dehradun national highway.
