Come and experience living in an authentic ecolodge, producing your own food and helping us to offer our guests an experience of contact with nature and sustainable practices.
We are a company with 8 employees, most working in the kitchen. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for our guests. We also have staff who take care of cleaning and tidying the rooms (there are 10 in total), in addition to the receptionist. Ecolodge has a manager who coordinates all staff, including volunteers.
There are many beautfull beaches and waterfall in the nearby, easilly reached by bycicle (we provide one). Volunteers can also do a lot of cultural activities, such as visiting the indigenous tribes, quilombolas and the local fisher community. Ubatuba is the paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers, as we are located in one of the last fragments of the Atlantic Forest, one of the most biodiverse biomas on planet.
Help with Eco Projects
We can offer an exchange with the Brazilian culture, culinary and other things related with the traditional culture of the surrounds (caiçaras, quilombolas and indigenous). It’s also a great opportunitie to get to know one of the most beautful coast zones of Brazil, as we are located only a few minutes in a bicycle from the beaches in the north coast of Ubatuba.
We need help in our agroforestry, from planting to harvesting, and also helping with the food procession. We plant banana, palm heart, cocoa and native fruits. The day by day tasks includes managing the agroforestry systems.
We have one person (João) that is our local paid worker, and he is in charge for the tasks, so the volunteers will be helping and interacting with him most of the time.
We also needs help in the kitchen, whether harvesting and preparing pancs salads, or serving guests at the restaurant and pool bar.
