Description
My wife, Paola, and I live in our little house, with fields and vegetable gardens, on a hill at 1,000 meters above sea level in the Modena Apennines, in Montemolino di Palagano. We offer hospitality by making our small second house available. The landscapes are stunning in all seasons, the walks and trails are numerous, and the nature with its woods and its fascinating wildlife. We recently decided to organize a festival dedicated to wild garlic, which grows wild and abundantly near our streams. We believe it is a plant worth promoting. The festival, for which we are seeking assistance, will be held on May 3, 2026.
We are asking for assistance with maintaining the common trails, the environment, and the projects we will implement with the local community. No assistance is required for managing the B&B's hospitality.
Io e mia moglie Paola viviamo in questa nostra casetta, con campi e orti, su una collina a quota 1000 metri, sull'Appennino modenese, a Montemolino di Palagano.
Facciamo ospitalità mettendo adisposizione una nostra piccola seconda casetta. I paesaggi sono stupendi, in tutte le stagioni, le passeggiate ed i sentieri da percorrere sono tanti, la natura con i suoi boschi ed i suoi animali selvatici affascinanti.
Abbiamo da poco deciso di organizzare una festa dedicata all'AGLIO ORSINO che cresce spontaneo ed in abbondanza vicino ai nostri torrenti. Una pianta pensiamo da valorizzare. La festa, per l'organizzazione della quale cerchiamo aiuto, sarà il 03 maggio 2026
Chiediamo aiuto per l'attività di mantenimento dei sentieri comini, dell'ambiente e dei progetti che attiveremo con la comunità locale
Non sono richiesti aiuti per la gestione dell'ospitalità del B&B
Durante la festa, se l'ospite workewayer sarà presente, potrà essere di aiuto per l'accompagnamento nelle escursioni guidate al torrente per la raccolta delle erbe di aglio orsino

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Our goals include improving our surroundings and making them accessible and accessible to as many people as possible, cleaning and enhancing the trails surrounding us, and promoting the presence of wild animals in the woods (the only thing missing is a bear, although we do have plenty of wild garlic). We collaborate with the locals on socially responsible activities. We would particularly appreciate their love, knowledge, and passion for nature, aspects we are ready to share and learn about.
Fra i nostri scopi possiamo elencare il miglioramento dei nostri luoghi e la loro accessibilità e conoscenza per tanti, la pulizia e la valorizzazione dei sentieri che ci circondano, la valorizzazione delle presenze di animali selvatici dei boschi (ci manca solo l'orso (anche se abbiamo tanto aglio orsino). Con l'ospitalità che offriamo nella casetta, spesso stranieri del centro Europa, condividiamo i nostri tesori. Con la gente del paese collaboriamo nelle attività rivolte al sociale.
Particolarmente gradite sarebbero amore, conoscenze e passione per gli elementi naturalistici, aspetti sui quali siamo pronti a condividere ed imparare.

Help
We have a greenhouse and an outdoor vegetable garden, and many new fruit trees to tend. We also have some help to complete on the dry stone walls. We also have wild plant collection to do, and various party preparation tasks to complete. I am an architect, now retired, with a strong passion and expertise for all practical tasks. My wife, Paola, is a nurse with a degree in educational sciences and is an excellent cook. My wife and I speak Italian, as well as a little English and Spanish. Abbiamo una serra ed un orto esterno e molte nuove piante da frutto da curare. Alcuni lavori di sistemazione di muri a secco in sasso da ultimare. Lavori di raccolta delle piante selvatiche da fare e varie attività di preparazione della festa da svolgere.
Io sono architetto, ora già in pensione, con una forte passione e competenza per tutti i lavori pratici. Mia moglie Paola è infermiera, con laurea in scienze della formazione, ed è una ottima cuoca.
Io e mia moglie possiamo parlare, oltre l'italiano, un poco l'inglese e lo spagnolo. Pensiamo ad n aiuto nelle gestione delle aree esterne, dell'orto, dei sentieri che circondano la nostra casa e la nostra collina

Accommodation
The Workawayer will stay in a separate, isolated cabin on stilts nestled among the trees in the forest, not far from our house. Meals will be eaten together in our kitchen, where we also have a wood-fired oven for pizzas and other cooking, or outdoors on nice days. Meals will be cooked primarily by Paola, an excellent cook, using primarily local ingredients and produce, as well as our own vegetables.
Il Workawayer alloggerà in una casetta separata, isolata, su una palafitta in mezzo agli alberi del bosco, non lontano dalla nostra casa. I pasti saranno consumati insieme nella nostra cucina, dove abbiamo anche un forno legna per le pizze e per la cottura, o all'aperto nelle giornate di bel tempo. Saranno prevalentemente cucinati da Paola, ottima cuoca, utilizzando prevalentemente ingredienti e prodotti del posto, oltre alle nostre verdure.
