Description
We, two people (61) / (57), emigrated from "normal" life and crossed France on the Way of St. James. Arrived in Portugal, we live our life on the adventure playground and realise step by step our dream of a permaculture paradise on 3 hectares in the Alto Alentejo. We live simply, shower in an IBC shower, use a dry toilet and sleep outside in summer. We are self-sufficient in water and electricity. We have built an outdoor kitchen, tend and water our fruit and vegetables in the garden. Everything that the birds leave us, we dry and preserve.
There is a lot to do and we are looking forward to sharing the new experiences, our adventures and the work with you.Types of help and learning opportunities

The plains that disappear from sight start at the Tejo. And while further north the rhythm of life is shaped by the green of the vegetable region, the landscape further south combines with sun, heat and a slower rhythm. That is the Alentejo. The Alto Alentejo region is known for its unspoiled nature, culture. There are beautiful hiking and biking trails, you can watch birds, fish at the reservoir or swim.
