    Description

    We are an organization in Sengerema, Mwanza (Tanzania) dealing with awareness creation to children and youths on the challenges that face the youngsters and the environment. At our learning center, we run a nursery school project where we have kids of ages 3-5!

    At our learning center, volunteers will have a chance to teach English, counting/maths, various sports and songs and help to determine and stimulate the kids’ talents and instruct them accordingly with love and care.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Mwanza is the region of Lake Victoria, one the greatest lakes in the world with its delicious NilePearch. While in Mwanza, volunteers do get the chance to visit The Sukuma Tribe Museum (largest tribe in Tanzania), Saa Nane Island and The Rubondo Nataional Park.
    Mwanza is the nearest place to the well known Serengeti National Park where volunteers can get a chance to visit the place that is full of best wild animals and birds.
    Through interaction with the local people, volunteers can learn Tanzanian ways of life, traditions and African dishes.

    With the organization team, volunteers will be teaching in our nursery and pre school at pSengerema district.

    Teaching Programs:
    - Teaching in Nursery schools (working with kids); teaching them to count, reading, songs and different sports.
    - Teaching in Primary School; Most of primary schools in Mwanza region contain kids aged 5years to 13. Volunteers will be helping to teach either English, mathematics, science, geography or other foreign language i.e, French to some other institutions.
