Join Us in Beautiful Turrialba, Costa Rica! Help Us Build a Sustainable Retreat!

We are Gabriel and Suellen, and we own a small dragon fruit (pitahaya) plantation and a property that we are continuously reforesting to enhance the natural beauty and biodiversity of the area. We are looking for a skilled individual with welding and construction knowledge to help us complete a unique guests house to welcome tourists who want to explore this stunning region.

    What We Offer:

Accommodation: Stay in an unfinished steel cabin (guest house) with breathtaking views of the Turrialba Volcano.
Meals: Enjoy three delicious meals a day made from fresh, local ingredients, including produce from our own farm.
Cultural Exchange: Immerse yourself in the local culture, learn Spanish, and participate in community workshops.
Free time: Explore nearby natural attractions, such as the Pacuare River, national parks, and indigenous reserves.

    What We Are Looking For:

Skills: Proficiency in welding and general construction. Experience with eco-friendly building practices is a plus.
Commitment: Enthusiastic individuals who are eager to contribute to our sustainable tourism project and help us create a welcoming space for future visitors.
Attitude: Positive, hardworking, and adaptable to living and working in a rural setting.

    Your Role:

    - Participate in reforestation efforts and maintenance of the dragon fruit plantation.
    - Collaborate with us to implement innovative and sustainable building solutions.

We are Costa Ricans, but we are not originally from this part of the country. We spend most of our time here because we work remotely. We have many ideas to make our property more eco-friendly, but we don't always have the technical knowledge. We speak Spanish most of the time, but we would also like to practice English and other languages.
